Meet Dr. Anna Muench

Dr. Albert Stush is very pleased to announce and welcome Dr. Anna Muench as she joins his practice of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at his Lewisburg office this July.

Dr. Muench grew up in Central Pennsylvania near Richfield. She attended Northumberland Christian School from first through twelfth grade. She graduated from the Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. degree, with honors, in microbiology with a minor in biochemistry and molecular biology.

Dr. Muench earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland Baltimore College of Dental Surgery where she graduated first in her class. She also earned a Master’s degree in oral biology and an Orthodontics Specialty Certificate from the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery in 2012. She is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.

Dr. Muench has been in the practice of orthodontics in the Baltimore area for the last ten years and has been active in the orthodontic community there. She has been a board member and president of the Maryland State Society of Orthodontists for several of those years.

In her free time, Dr. Muench loves to spend time with her husband of 19 years, Theo, her family, her papillon Allee and her friends. She is quite the athlete as well. She enjoys training and competing in all distance-running events and triathlons. She has run in the Boston Marathon three times and successfully completed it again this year.

She was a four-time member of Team USA at the World championships for sprint triathlons and was designated as an All-American triathlete. So, when she is not in the office helping patients have great smiles, you can be sure to find her running or cycling on the trails in the central Pennsylvania landscape, rain or shine.
